History
Vyksa’s flag was adopted on 28 February 2017. Its white unicorn refers to the Batashev family arms; brothers Andrei and Ivan Batashev established the ironworks associated with the development of Vyksa’s metallurgy. The four-part field continues the quartered design of the city’s earlier arms, adopted in 1984.
